The Dutch State Treasury Agency is committed to ensuring the user-friendliness, accessibility, design and findability of the information it provides online. We believe that everyone should be able to locate, use and view government sites. To this end, the Dutch central government is implementing the second edition of the Web Guidelines.

What is an accessible website?
An accessible website can be used by all target groups, without limitations. Therefore there are particular functional and editorial accessibility requirements (or previously: web guidelines) for government websites. These are laid down in accessibility standard EN 301 549.
Central Government Online Platform
This website uses a shared infrastructure (central government online platform), which complies with the functional technical requirements of the Web Guidelines. Other parts of the Web Guidelines lay down requirements for the site’s content.
